What info do we have about Grand Theft Auto V? Well, we have a trailer, a bunch of screenshots, and a few scattered statements from Rockstar, but we still don't have a clear picture of what our next crime spree looks like. So let's take a minute to look at all that we have seen so far and make some educated guesses about what Grand Theft Auto V is going to be like.

First of all, it was confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V would take place in Los Santos, a city in San Andreas. Many of you may remember San Andreas from, appropriately enough, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. But that game wasn't a numbered title. Still, GTA titles tend to stand on their own anyway, so the V in GTA V's title is probably insignificant.

However, the fact that we are going back to San Andreas is not insignificant at all. Perhaps this means that we will see a renewed focus on RPG-like elements, much as we had in San Andreas. Perhaps this means that we will see old characters and places return as well. San Andreas and Los Santos are based around Los Angeles and Southern California, so we can be sure to see plenty of riffs on SoCal culture. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Los Santos hosts some sort of riff on E3.

The trailer took us to several places in Los Santos, including the surrounding areas of Vinewood, Vespucci beach, and Pleasure Pier. 

Obviously, these are based on Hollywood, Venice Beach, and the Santa Monica pier. The trailer also took us to Little Seoul, which is a riff on Koreatown. In addition, it appears as if we are going to end up going into the wilderness as well, with the trailer showing off some mountainous regions and wooded areas.

One of the biggest draws of Grand Theft Auto is the ability to, well, commit Grand Theft Auto. Grand Theft Auto V, though, will also allow you to commit Grand Theft Aerial and Grand Theft Naval. The trailer showcased vehicles such as helicopters, planes, Jet Skis, and more. Rockstar is obviously diversifying the types of vehicles you can pilfer this time around. A tank is only the tip of the iceberg. Here's hoping we eventually get to steal shuttles to the moon.

Grand Theft Auto V is also going to integrate several new side activities as well. Remember how GTA IV let you go bowling with contacts. Well, GTA V will let you play golf, practice yoga, go hiking and more. We may even see a return of a Red Dead Redemption-style poker minigame. Rockstar already has the code for it, after all.
